I work with a wide range of mental health issues without the use of psychotropic medications, and I can collaborate with alternative health practitioners (such as homeopaths, acupuncturists, etc) to support your healing.

I offer depth psychotherapy, meeting usually once or twice per week for anywhere from a few months to a couple of years depending on the situation. I have helped people with relationship issues, depression/bipolar, anxiety, trauma, grief, addictions, eating disorders, compulsions (like cutting, hair pulling, etc), spiritual ruts or crises, and the emotional side of chronic health problems.

Willow has a B.A. in Religious Studies from Colorado University where she taught in the Experimental Studies Program for two years. Her Ph.D. from Union Graduate School in "The Psychology of Religion and Symbol" explored multi-disciplinary perspectives in psychology, with a focus on what individuals and society lost in abandoning our evolutionary history of intimate relationship with our bodies, one another, and the natural world. For 11 years she taught philosophy and mythology in the Women's Studies Program at Cabrillo College, her self-designed courses including "The Evolution of the Feminine" and "Women, Nature and Control."

For over 25 years Willow has assisted hundreds of people towards radical healing through her work as a transformational counselor. Her own evolution and vocation have been guided by what is now called "EcoPsychology," an awareness and practice that recovers our "original" or "natural self," and restores our primal connection with the intelligence and vital life force of the natural world. Nature designed us perfectly. In the past few thousand years, we have simply lost touch with our deep connection to bodies and the living world surrounding us.

Willow works with both individual and groups, using traditional and modern techniques to heal the fractured psyche that arises when we are estranged from our original self.
